Lissa missed Christian. She had since she arrived here, several months ago. But the longer she was here, the more she realized that there was a good chance that Christian was not going to join her here. And as long as he didn't, well...she was alone. And Lissa didn't like being alone.
She'd heard many people speak about how this life was different than one the one a person led back home - that they couldn't be expected to hold on to the things that tied them to the places from which they came. Like Christian.
Which was why she was willing to be here tonight, dressed in one of her finest dresses, giving this a try. She'd been quite fond of Merlin, at Speed Dating, and she was quietly curious to see if anything could come of it.
She arrived a few minutes late, perhaps, which was a direct result of being Queen. Of course, the Queen was never late. She took a seat across from him, smiling at the rose.
