Status COMPLETE.
Waking up between Amberle and Eretria was one of Wil’s favorite things about living in Madison Valley. When he’d arrived here so long ago, he never expected to find himself in a relationship with both of the women he loved, but apparently it wasn’t completely taboo here and they all felt the same way. It was unconventional still, but they were making it work and Wil thought they were pretty happy.
It had been a long time since he woke up with the three of them smashed in Amberle’s bed in the loft at the barn. Why were they here instead of their home? Had there been a party last night and they decided to stay? If so, why didn’t he remember?
“Wake up,” he said, reaching out to shake both of their shoulders. “Why are we in the loft?”

Amberle was definitely the sort who got clingy while sleeping, so even though she ended up on Wil's side, she could always reach over to reach Eretria. She didn't immediately realize that something was wrong when Wil shook her shoulder. It was much easier to just snuggle in closer to her lovers, only she realized she was way closer to the edge of the bed than she should have been.
"Uh. Party? Was there a party?" Amberle couldn't remember, but it seemed likely. There were lots of holidays that humans celebrated, not all of which she remembered. "We can grab breakfast before we go home. I want to shower before I head to the shop."

Eretria was less clingy, but she liked being able to touch them both if she reached out. The fact she didn't have to actually stretch made her brain start waking up. But then she decided it didn't really matter.
She yawned as Wil shook her shoulder, then sat up. Ere rarely was caught unawares but with all the new holidays she'd learned about, and the drinking that obviously came with, it was not as unusual for her to be more lax.
“I don't think there was a party but there must have been.” She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, her body wasn't pleased at sleeping cramped anymore. Hmph. “Breakfast good. Shower also good.”

“I don’t remember a party,” Wil said. They were both being very casual about this whole thing, but it made him very uncomfortable that they were waking up in a place they weren’t supposed to be. At least it was a familiar place and they were together, but it was still unsettling. “If we want food and showers, we should go back to our house.”
It wasn’t like they kept any of their belongings at the farm after they moved. They knew that Wanda and John might want that space available for someone else.

"Yea, you're right." Amberle did love the house they'd found for themselves. Plenty of room for the three of them even though they all shared the master bedroom. "We should go home. And at least make sure there was a party." She sat up, only to discover herself in the old t-shirt she'd used to sleep in when she'd been staying in the loft herself.
One look around the room showed that all her stuff was there, which was odd. "Uh. Actually?" Amberle pointed at their stuff, Eretria's and Wil's in the carved out areas she'd made for them when Wil first arrived. "We should definitely check on the house."

Eretria looked around after a moment and blinked slowly. “Well.” she slid out of the bed and stretched upwards as she looked around. “This isn’t… am I still drunk or something?” she waved a hand in front of her own face, and once satisfied she wasn’t drunk, she frowned. “Yeah we need to go check that out. Shower be damned.” she twisted her hair up into a knot really quickly, ignoring the usual things she did to it.
Right now, things weren’t exactly right and that was a problem. Her nose twitched as she scowled at the Loft. she’d loved this place, it was delightful, but it wasn’t exactly the thing she remembered sleeping in the other night.

This was getting stranger by the moment. Why were their things here? They hadn’t lived here in months. Wil could have believed that maybe they would have stayed the night if there was a party and they didn’t feel like going home, but Madison Valley wasn’t that big and that wouldn’t explain their belongings.
He pressed a kiss to Amberle’s cheek and then followed Eretria out of the bed. “At least we can get dressed,” he said, going to the drawer that he expected to contain his garments.

Amberle sighed and climbed out of bed after her two lovers, going for the closet to find a sweater dress to wear. There was one that she'd worn the hell out of that had gotten a few too many tears to fix, but there it was, hanging in her closet barely worn. That was a win, at least. Like Eretria, she pulled her hair back hastily, only she preferred braids.
"If your stuff isn't in that drawer, try the one on the bottom. I think that was where you put your stuff when you finally caved and picked one," she told Wil as she got changed. "Ere, do you have those leggings still? The grey ones?" Amberle had borrowed them just the previous week in her mind, but if her closet was anything to go by, nothing was guaranteed at the moment.
This ought to be fun.

“No?” She usually fussed over her hair, but this whole thing threw her for a loop. Though as she pulled her drawer open she grabbed them and tossed them over to Amberle.
She resumed digging for her favorite non leather set of clothing, her jeans she'd torn holes in while out exploring were here as in one piece. “This place is weirder than I originally thought.” She pulled them on and threw on a long sleeved shirt.

When Wil opened his drawer, he was surprised to find the clothes that he’d been wearing when he first arrived in town. He had long relegated those to a box kept stored under the bed and typically wore modern clothes now.
“I suppose we ought to go and check in at the farm house before we do anything else,” he said. Maybe someone there would be able to tell them what was going on.

"Whatever it is, we'll figure it out. We always do." She took the leggings and added her favorite boots, also with a few less scuff marks. Oh well, at least she'd still look presentable to her friends.
Deciding she was as set as she was going to get, Amberle grabbed her keys and her phone and was ready to go. Her stomach rumbled, which made her blush. "And definitely at least a banana. Or something." She pulled open the door and looked at her boyfriend and girlfriend, expecting them to head out before she shut the door behind them.

Eretria gathered the last of the things she thought she’d need and headed out the door. “A snack is good before breakfast. We’re going to need it I think.” she mused as she tucked her hair behind her shoulder and swept outside.
“We’ll figure it out, though, that’s just our style.” she grinned at them both. She loved the pair of them like no other, it was easier to just enjoy their company no matter what strangeness this place put upon them.
