"Oh, I'm grand," she said, tucking her wild hair behind her ears. It was even more wild than usual at the moment, because she'd been in the woods most of the day with the wind whipping through it. Not that her curls would ever be tamed completely.
"This strange bow and this new place haven't soured my aim, and I'm glad for that. You never know when it'll come in handy," she said, hands on her hips.
"Are you eating? I'm starving. Worked up a good appetite in the cold."
