Who: Leo Fitz and Merida What: Just a random meeting When: Tuesday afternoon Where: The park Warnings: Probably none Status: Closed/On-going
It was a good day, Fitz thought. Classes were going well, what he'd been working on the lab hadn't given him any frustrations, it was cold out but not so utterly freezing that he wanted to retreat inside. He wanted to do something for Jemma, but that was equal parts wanting to help her and trying to figure out what to do for Valentine's Day. He'd figure it out, though, he knew it would. So unlike the other day, while he was concerned about things, he wasn't going to dwell.
He was, however, going to walk in the park and just lose himself in things. Just because he wasn't dwelling didn't mean he wasn't thinking.
It wasn't anything too much, though, just the fact that he missed his family. Well, not "just", but in terms of things he could be thinking of. It kind of hurt his heart that he would never be able to introduce his family to his daughter. They they would never get to meet the beautiful little angel he and Jemma had given life to. But at the same time? Thinking about it was just going to break his brain, and he wasn't going to do that just then.
Mostly because if he did, he was going to completely either walk past or into the young woman standing slightly off to the side of the path he was on. He slowed to a stop by her. "You're either looking for something or appreciating the view," he said with a slight smile. "I'm not going to guess lost, because I don't think you look confused."
