Who: Faith Lehane and Open What: Shopping and thinking Where: Downtown When: Sunday Warnings: TBD Status: Open
It was cold out but so far there weren't any snowflakes falling. Faith kind of wished it was snowing. When she was a kid snow was the enemy. Half the time they didn't have heat, when they did they didn't use it very much because the electricity cost money. Snow and cold meant shitty walks to school wearing as many layers as she could put on because she didn't have a good enough coat.
Snow to other kids meant the possibility of snow days and play time. For Faith it meant a day without breakfast because you got that from school so if school was out you were out of luck.
But maybe, just maybe, she might play in the snow now. Maybe. If it did snow maybe she could drag Wes outside to build a snow man and finally be able to say she made one.
Right now she was shopping. Others had bitched about the whole valentines day thing on the net and Faith sure as hell wasn't going to chime in. She was mostly going to ignore the hell out of it but she kind of wanted to get something for Wes. Not that she'd probably give it to him on valentines day. Maybe before.
And dear god nothing with hearts, fuzzy pink bears or anything else stupid on it.
So she was going in and out of stores looking at things and trying to figure out what she wanted to actually look for. Getting him weapons was always a good buy but she was saving that for back up in case she struck out on other ideas.
