"I know that Asgard is real. I've met Odin and his Valkyrie." He spoke the words softly, trying to reassure her that he was not questioning her.
"What kind of power source could you use? Would magic of sufficient power be enough?"
He was curious at that, then blinked as she turned her fury once more on him and his own temper rose. His eyes fixed a point past her face and he spoke.
"Perhaps if you didn't look like you were sleep deprived and disheveled, and if you didn't speak as if your words might be your last, people might stop asking. But when people see that, hear that, they care. If you want to yell at someone, yell at me, I'm used to it. But stop acting like people don't have a reason to ask when you appear as if you've not just lost days, but perspective as well."
His tone was tight, passionate, and filled with restrained annoyance. She reminded him, just then, very much of Molly.
