Stilinski had been feeling good the last few days -- not that he'd been feeling bad, his condition upon his return not withstanding -- better than he'd felt in a long while. Dating Maggie filled a part of his life that'd been empty for a good long while, and that was a little frightening. But at the same time, it felt good to care about someone again. However it actually went, time would tell.
He caught sight of the man coming towards him, pegged him as law enforcement easily, almost immediately. And as a refugee a moment after that, mostly because he knew who the local law enforcement was, thanks to working with the department. The ones he didn't work with, he at least saw around.
