"Uh, try I'm jus not around when you are," Cassie countered, the bitch going unsaid even though it was pretty clearly there. Sure, she didn't see Nick every day, but that was the whole point. Lower expectations and that shit. She and Nick were just fine, not that it was any of Bobbi's business.
"We don't have any problem. Maybe you're just looking for one cause you think he'll like you better if you 'fix' me. Well you're wrong. I don't need fixing, and I sure as hell wouldn't need it from you if I did." Cassie was starting to get pissed off, but she was making an effort to tamp it down.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go far away from you because that's the way I like it." Maybe she could put in a restraining order or something if that would get it through the crazy lady's thick skull that she didn't want anything to do with her. Suit would help. "Oh-" she turned back to look at Bobbi, "I'm gonna be at Nick's this weekend, so you can make yourself scarce then. Thanks!" She added the last bit brightly, heavy with the sarcasm. One mocking salute later and she turned her back on the other woman to head on her way again.
