WHO: Bobbi Morse and OPEN WHAT: Freezing and thinking about things WHEN: Monday evening WHERE: At Starbucks WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Bobbi never missed her run, no matter how ridiculously cold it was outside. And today was ridiculously cold. Still, she'd managed to run her entire path before finishing and scurrying her but to Starbucks to warm up her insides - if they hadn't permanently frozen inside of her.
Despite the cold, her run had been nice. She had quite a lot to think about, and while she hadn't solved any problems, she liked to at least think that she was closer to figuring some of them out. Especially her most perplexing one - Cassie Holmes.
The truth was, Bobbi really wanted Cassie to like her. Not because of any sort of ego, or any sort of need to be loved, but simply because she knew that it made Nick very, very unhappy to have Cassie mad at him. And she had a feeling that if he had to choose, he would choose Cassie. Which was as it should be, she guessed, but she kind of wanted to make sure that he never had to make that choice. That he could have both of them. And that meant finding peace with Cassie somehow.
Now she just had to figure out how to do that. But it was a step, and she would take it.
Getting in line, she kept her feet jogging a little to try to stop the shivering.
