Tera spent more time as wolf than human, and while she'd begun to try to be more human, some nights just drew her here on all four feet. She was easily overwhelmed with the scents of humanity, but the forest held enough nature to help soothe her. It wasn't the same, it was quite the teasing taste of freedom, but it would do.
She generally kept to places less traveled. She knew humans were often scared by a large timber wolf in their midst, so she was a little surprised to smell someone heading this way. Tera wasn't worried, so she stayed stretched out under a tree, soaking up nature while watching for the body the scent belonged to.
Her nose twitched as she found the face the scent belonged to, he'd been at that pack function. She didn't know him name, though, just his scent. A wolfish grin curled her lips as he approached carefully, no teeth showing in her greeting. She stood and shook off the dirt before changing from wolf to human, communication was better anyways, if they were the same.
Her change looked far less painful than some, though she didn't have clothes when she did. It didn't bother Tera, but not knowing him, she reached back where she'd been laying and grabbed a shirt and shrugged it on. While not socially acceptable, she was at least covered.
"Hello, Derek. I am Tera, you've been at that pack house before.," not so much a question as a statement.
