WHO: Annie Sawyer and Harry Dresden WHEN: Let's say... tonight? WHERE: Annie's apartment WHAT: Harry tries to help Annie WARNINGS: Low STATUS: Closed/Incomplete
______________
Annie left a message with Harry that she was ready to see him. He said he'd come to her-- so she gave him directions to her apartment. However, she wasn't sure how good her directions were, considering this place was new to her.
She sat on the couch and bounced Eve. She wasn't exactly happy-- at least Mitchell and Tom were here. But if it were perfect, Eve would have her parents. She wouldn't be stuck in this suburban purgatory. It was just as bad as being in Barry. At least the vampires would leave Eve alone-- none of them knew of the prophecy and it was a dumb prophecy to begin with. It was one of those self-fulfilling ones, at that.
Annie waited for a knock at the door, holding Eve in one arm and a bottle in the other. She used some of the money she'd gotten when she arrived to buy formula and diapers. Annie herself had no need for material objects.
