WHO: Axl Johnson and OPEN WHAT: Having a Drink WHEN: Saturday night WHERE: Lou's WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
Axl definitely wasn't the biggest party guy on the planet, but that wasn't to say that he didn't like hanging out with his friends on Saturday night and having a few drinks. Only, since he'd arrived here, the only real friend he had was his brother, and Ty wasn't always the most exciting guy to hang out with. Oh, he was definitely Axl's favorite brother, but he was kind of...well...Ty.
Thankfully, he'd gotten control of his alcohol use since arriving here. It had been hard at first, what with everything that had happened back home. Of course, none of that had changed. He still was pretty sure he'd killed his brother. Gaia had still become Idun and slept with said brother. But he had some distance from it now and he was able to look on it with a clearer head. If you could ever look at something like that with a clear head.
When they caught him back home, charged him with murder or whatever, he'd just say that he hadn't meant to. That it had been a fit of rage and people could do crazy things in a fit of rage. Maybe it wasn't the best defense, but it was the truth, and that was what Axl wanted to go with. He was free as long as he was here, except for the guilt that he had to live with, but he was trying to just enjoy his last days of freedom. As much as he could, knowing he'd murdered his own brother.
Tonight he was at Lou's, sitting at the bar with a Fosters. He wasn't a huge fan of Australian beer either, but it was better than American beer. Not that that was saying much since American beer was pathetically and disgustingly flavored water. He wouldn't have minded finding someone else in the bar to talk to...he might not have been super popular or anything back home, but he also wasn't used to feeling this alone.
