"Shall we make popcorn?" he suggested. It seemed like the thing to do. Popcorn might not be a traditional Thanksgiving food, but he and Faith were anything but traditional. Whatever they were, they were never going to conform to normalcy and typical standards.
"We could make quite an event out of it," he said. Because why not? They could do anything they wanted to do. While everyone else was celebrating with huge feasts and too many people in small spaces, crowded around a table, they were rebels who could do anything.
