Thankfully, at Pack functions, people tended to mind their own business. Too many other distractions. But Jaime knew that look, and a small smile curled her lips.
"They are terribly troublesome, aren't they?" she said in a voice that all but screamed exasperation. A heavy sigh. "They're always going to be loud, obnoxious, and there, but handling them takes time." Jaime tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Any time you want to talk about it, or see if I can help, just give me a call. It might help." she smiled faintly, gently, she knew what kind of hell listening to the dead was.
