Amberle felt much the same way, afraid to give in too much to the world she found herself in for fear of being returned home. She already suffered a loss by leaving her friends behind. Amberle couldn't bear to lose yet another life, particularly since she would be returned to a point in time in which she would no longer exist as herself.
"Perhaps," she replied, in regards to his comment on time. She let the silence settle between them for a few long minutes before she turned to him again. "I should take my leave. Have a good evening." Amberle gave him a small smile before continuing on her way, back to the farm house and her loft. Perhaps she would spend some time in the kitchen, if it wasn't too busy.
