Necromancy was one discipline of dark magic Pansy would never, ever touch, but if it were, she would raise the corpse of the idiot who'd developed Daylight Savings Time and hex the eyeballs out of him. While it had been nice to have an extra hour of sleep, it had been jarring to look out the window at 4 in the afternoon and find it almost pitch dark. Pansy wasn't dislike the dark, but she rather liked the idea of being able to see some sunshine when she left work, rather than get the impression that she'd toiled the daylight away. Work was difficult enough some days without feeling like she was wasting her life. It was only fifteen minutes until she was off when she heard the door chime to announce someone's entrance. "We're closing soon," she called, hoping they'd go away and leave her in peace. |
