He took a quick drink of the whiskey she provided. It was cold on his lips, but it warmed his throat as it travelled downward. He'd need a few more of these if he was going to completely put the dark-haired witch out of his mind. With that thought he quickly finished what she had poured him, and pushed the glass forward so she could refill it.
"I'll take the next one slower," he said. "So long as you join me. I'll pay for it, I promise. What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't?" His smile was mischievous, and his blue eyes twinkled with the same playfulness. Neal really just wanted some fun company for the night.
