"You make it sound like I look ready to fall out," Mason said. He opened the fridge and pulled out a cold bottle of water. He uncapped it and took a sip as he turned around and faced Stilinski. He set the cap on the counter behind himself, holding the open bottle in his hand.
"And the truth is, I probably am. I'm tried," he said. "But it goes along with this time of year. Seasons changing and everything." He was so glad he had a house with electricity, running water, and heat for the winter. He appreciated those things so much more for having survived without any of the standard comforts of home for several years.
