WHO Cassie Holmes & Clary WHAT Artists meet! WHEN Saturday afternoon WHERE In the Park WARNINGS Cassie's language, but otherwise probably non STATUS Match-Up | Closed | Incomplete
Cassie was still reeling from her conversation with Nick yesterday. While she was pretty sure they were in a better place, Cassie needed a break from all the emotions swirling around her. Whatever was going on, it was way worse than a Push in a lot of ways because talking about feelings and being vulnerable sucked. Ignoring it seemed like the viable option for a thirteen year old, so she bailed and headed to the park, sketchbook in hand. It was kinda nice out so there were people milling around.
She thought of sitting on an actual bench, but they were all taken, so Cassie found a big tree to sit under instead. It was easier to watch people while she was trying to See how the future changed. She was a terrible artist but she was working on it. Time and practice were the worst though because it wouldn't help her now. So she drew and it was a mixture of what was right in front of her and what she Saw when the visions hit her.
At least now, she could draw her and Nick on the same page. That was progress. The latest thing she'd started drawing was a green man with purple pants and she kept wanting to give him red hair instead of black because it reminded her of a Disney princess. That drawing was on one page and now she was drawing a flower that was right in front of her in the hopes that maybe it wouldn't suck so bad. Cassie was concentrating though, trying her best. That had to count for something, right?
