WHO: Sonya Blade (with bb Cassie Cage) and open (multiples welcomed) WHAT: Arrival Where: anywhere around Main street WHEN: Today WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open and Ongoing
The likelihood of a military vehicle showing up in Madison Valley was probably a rare one, but then it did appear out of nowhere. That was also rare, as most new arrivals usually arrived by themselves, but that didn't stop one from arriving-along with the passengers inside.
Sonya was startled when she went to start the engine of the GMV, but soon as her keys went into the ignition, the view outside the windows changed. Instead of the view around SF HQ, she was now in..some small midwestern town. Being head of command on the military base (second to General Blake), Sonya made herself fully aware of any and all use of portal tech on and around base; none of the portals were in use, certainly none that would take her from one part of the US to another.
For a moment, her breath seized in her chest and she quickly turned to see if Cassie was still safe and secure. Buckled and secure in the car seat (a feature she had specifically customized made for her vehicle), the infant only stared at her with wide, blue eyes, not old enough to be aware of the change in scenery. Sonya let out the breath she was holding. Where ever they hell they were, if she could keep Cassie safe, that was her main concern.
Making sure her power gauntlets were secure (and the side arm secure on her side with the safety on), Sonya carefully stepped out of the vehicle, scowling when she realize that they were still not in California. She proceeded to unstrap her daughter, the eight month old gurgling and waving her hands as Sonya tried to settle her in her arms.
"Least someone's happy," She said, looking around. Part of her wondered if it was a bother to take the diaper bag with them, but decided for it instead. She had no idea where they were or how long it would be till they could get home. After a minute, she used one hand to reach into the back and pull out a dark green bag.
"Right, Cass.." Sonya tried to sound calmer than she thought. "Lets see if anyone has a clue where the hell we are."
