WHO: J'onn J'onzz and you(open to multiples) WHAT: Curious Martian wanders the streets. WHEN: Today WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open and Ongoing
Some days, J'onn really wasn't sure what to think of his life. He was a Green Martian, the last survivor of his race, a refugee from a race war that ended with no hope, and had been pretending to be another man for a very long time. Long enough that sometimes he wondered if he would answer more aptly to J'onn or to Hank. He had gotten used to 'being' Hank, thinking like... well, a nicer Hank, and acting in a way that seemed utterly human. He had taken over that man's status as head of the Department of Extranormal Operations, a group dedicated to watching out for alien threats, even in the most seemingly innocuous of places.
Along the way, because of the kindness of a human, and a promise made, he had spent a large portion of that time watching over two young girls, the children of Jeremiah Danvers. One was human, one was not, and he had spent a lot of time doing his best to protect them. He had not always succeeded. And now he was in a new world with neither of them in sight. And so far, not a soul had had any kind of clue how to leave. This was troubling, as troubling as the barrier itself.
He had wandered around, for his first day, looking for ways to figure out an escape, but every clue he had uncovered pointed to it being impossible. And he didn't like that word.
At the moment, he was sitting in an outdoor cafe, observing people who came along or passed by, and casually scanning their surface thoughts, those they projected, for useful information.
