Who: Neal Caffrey and Mary Crawley What: Reconnecting with a good friend Where: Tea Shop When: Monday afternoon Warnings: None Status: Closed/In-progress
Resettling back into his life in Madison Valley took Neal a lot longer than he had expected. What was it about being snatched from your "normal" life a second time in a row and dumped in a place that was separated from that other life that made everything screwy? He had more memories than the last time, and he only remembered everything he left behind once he returned to the mysterious valley. It saddened him to think that he was living in Paris (once again) with no knowledge of the people he had grown close to, and had left behind when he was returned.
He knew there was a lot of catching up to do, especially with one of his closest friends in Madison Valley. Neal had bought a small bouquet of flowers for his dear friend, and entered the Tea Shop with a bright smile. "Mary," he called out before he took off his hat. He let the door close behind him as he gazed around the shop. This was the first time he had ever been there - a shame, really, since she had opened it before he was taken out of Madison. A few more steps in and he spotted her with her back facing him. Neal grinned, and closed the distance between them.
"Milady," he said as he brought the flowers around Mary's body to her front. "I'm sorry this took so long." And by this he meant visiting her and actually taking a proper moment to talk with her since his return. He needed to be better about that.
