Okay. Hm. Not trying to be a dick here. And by no means do anything you don't want to do: It's not like I have a sexual or romantic life, it's just by choice instead of compulsion.
Marriage in this time period is about mutual love. There's not all those archaic expectations and double standards about virginity. Most people lose their virginity before marriage; I was 15. Birth control exists and is widely spread, and so is other protection, so you're not really at risk for pregnancy or disease. Different people have different ideas and comfort levels, but 'sex is only for marriage' is pretty much only a view found on the very, very conservative fringes of society. Usually also the ones who think wives should sit down, shut up, and crank out kids.
A woman's reputation has to do with her abilities, level of competency, and character. Not whether she's opened her legs or not. Generally speaking.
You can feel any way you want about it, of course, but since most people aren't virgins, suggesting they're immoral or tainted is probably going to offend them.
