[Phone rings] FIX:(sounds a bit tired, but answers the phone) Hello?
Justine:[there’s a slight pause before she responds] Hello.. Fix? It’s Justine. I need your help. [she sounds calm]
Fix: Oh, hey, Justine. What’s up?
Justine: Thomas told me that you’re the Summer Knight, and that Harry’s the Winter Knight. Does that still apply here? Do you oppose him?
Fix: Yeah, that’s right. And yeah, it applies. It always applies. Did he do something? Did he hurt someone?
Justine: No. [she pauses for an extended moment] But I think he may end up hurting himself and others. Thomas told me to stay away from the courthouse tomorrow, because Harry and another Warden--Mr. Ramirez--were going down there to … ‘cause trouble.’ [there’s another breathless pause] They’re angry about the registration and things the city’s doing to us.
Fix: What? I mean, I get being angry...but that’s not going to do any good. Especially if they start throwing magic around. It’s just going to make people more scared and they’ll start doing more stuff.
Justine: That’s what I said to Thomas. I’m only human, Fix, but I don’t want anyone getting hurt. Not even Harry. But I can’t stop him, and Thomas can’t either. Will you try? Just talk to him, tell him to think about what he’s doing. I don’t know Mr. Ramirez well enough to speak about him, but I don’t think it’s wise for either of them to storm into a government building and claim White Council business. At best they get laughed at, at worst...
Fix: Yeah, at worst, people get hurt and things get a lot worse for everybody. I’ll talk to him, yeah. It’s kind of my job to talk to him when he starts doing stupid things.
Justine: … thank you. Don’t hurt him if you don’t have to. Not too badly if you do.
Fix: Don’t worry, I won’t unless I absolutely have to. I like Harry.
Justine: Me too. Anyway, that’s all the information I have, Fix. If I find out anything else I’ll let you know.
Fix: Yeah, thanks. I’ll give him a call. Take care, Justine. And if you ever need anything...
