elle bishop doesn't want to just be damaged (ellectric) wrote in madisonvalley, |
Elle didn't like this place, at all. It was too confining. And she didn't trust the Council. She couldn't. It reminded her too much of the Company, granted...she'd once been a part of that herself. Still. Trust was a big thing. And she had issues with that before all of this. She didn't feel like there was anyone she could remotely trust. And if that Council came after her? Well Elle would be forced to defend herself...and there would be a trail of bodies. She'd already died, what did she care?
What they were doing here, wasn't right. No one could get jobs if they didn't comply? Fuck that. Elle would get her own shit taken care of, even if she had to steal. She could have gone along with just about anything else...but not a blood sample. That was insane, and unnecessary. It was as bad as the tag and release from the Company. She'd been a Company girl once, but now she could see how wrong it was.
She had to get out for awhile. Maybe she'd go and pay a visit to Lindsey later. That sounded like fun. Elle liked him best, if she liked anything about being here. The no strings attached sex was amazing, and just what she needed sometimes. It had taken her a bit to adjust to being alive, but now she was a sexy, sassy, independent woman and she planned to stay that way.
Now Elle had gone on a walk. She was running out of money, and things were going to start to get bad soon. She needed to clear her head. She noticed the other girl, walking not far from her. Elle hadn't talked to a lot of people here yet, but she thought she'd seen her around on the network. She waved, might as well try to be friendly. She didn't look like a local, so Elle didn't have beef with her, outright.
