Who:Castiel and Big Blue Jake What: Romping with bees When: Monday morning Where: In the forest Warnings: Weird
Castiel liked the forest best. It was less confining than the apartments, less crowded than the streets and less manicured than the park. It was as His Father intended and these echoes of his Father's greatness was all he could stand of Him right now.
He'd been coming in here a daily to recharge, to visit with his friends. The squirrels and rabbits were easy company. They didn't demand, accepted him as he was. They didn't run as the angel walked by.
He was learning to cook and he supposed that was important too. He wanted to give his humans something that they needed without taking the fight he wanted nothing to do with. Couldn't it just be over? Wasn't it done? He was. Well and truly.
He got to his cleaning, choosing to walk there though he didn't have to. He pulled off his shirt and dropped it carelessly on the floor of the clearing. The only music was a soft buzzing that got louder as he started to dance, as they bees took notice. They emerged as a cloud, dark brown and shifting as one. They churned around his arms and torso like a cloud of fog, like a lover teasing gently. Cas had his eyes closed as he spun, a smile on his face. He loved this game of trust with his friends.
