Jake chatted with Leisha on the cell phone thing as he sat up in a tree waiting for Neytiri. His tail hung down from the branch, twitching impatiently every once in a while since he was really very bad at waiting sometimes, and his ears were constantly flickering round, trying to pick up as many sounds as he could so that he would know when she got close.
She still managed to sneak up on him, though; he didn't exactly fall out of the tree when she spoke, but his tail more than gave him away. Looking up to where the fallen tree was, a few meters upstream of the waterfall, he got to his feet quickly and nodded towards her, automatically sketching the little salute that went along with the greeting. "Oel ngati kameie, Neytiri," he replied, before grinning at her. He jumped up a couple of branches so that he was close to the edge of the cliff that the waterfall ran over, and then jumped and clambered up onto solid ground. From there, it was only a few paces until they were face to face once more. Tilting his head to the side, he grinned at her as he let his hand rest on her arm.
