Daryl lowered his bow a little more. He didn't sense any threat in the girl and, even if there was a threat there he figured he could handle himself.
"You come here to hide?" he said, his tone a fraction softer. If Daryl was to honest he was hiding as much as checking the boundary.
"Daryl," he said with a nod. "Why'd they be interested in you? You from their future too? If you believe that." Or was she one of those who claimed to be an angel or something out of one of those fantasy books Daryl knew about but had never read. "I won't tell 'em, if that what you're worried about," he added. "Only thing I'm tellin' 'em is to get lost."
