Frankly, the pharmacies here are quite unhelpful. It took a lot of convincing before they would believe I was a nurse and give me even a fraction of the medicines I requested.
Smallpox - my goodness, I hope not. We've had a vaccine for that for some time, and I can imagine how devastating an outbreak would be. These flats they've put us in are spacious and well-kept, but it's still a lot of people living in a small area, it'd spread just as quickly as in a tenement block in my time. I do see the logic of a quarantine system, as we do when people cross international borders, but this is really the wrong time to suggest it. People would take it the wrong way, after what the city has tried to do.
