Lucretia | Arcturus
Very much not our fault. We can scarcely be blamed. Slytherin is about cunning, and ambition, let us leave the blind idealism to the Gryffindors. We know who we are, after all, don't we?
That happens occasionally. I feel it's kind of cruel on the Hat's part. Not to mention wrong: Aren't the Houses supposed to support the will of their founders? It'd be like putting someone who was barely intelligent enough to speak in Ravenclaw.
Well, naturally. It's our job to preserve our culture.
I am quite capable. I'm the oldest of our generation, and my father's the head of the family. My brother will be someday, but he's the youngest and he'll need support, and besides, I could hardly build alliances and represent our interests if I were too cowardly or inept to express them.
