Anna wasn't really surprised by Rebekah's curt demeanor. Frankly she'd expected nothing less from the blonde. She'd heard stories over the centuries from various vampires who'd encountered her. Most of them weren't pleasant. Rightly so, most other vampires feared the Originals -- all of them. It just so happened that Rebekah was the only one she hadn't met before at some point. "The Original sister," Anna answered with a tiny, admiring smile. She waited until the woman had vanished back inside before continuing. "You're Rebekah Mikaelson. Any vampire from our world knows your name or they're too young and stupid to have paid attention to their own history."
Anna certainly wasn't out to make enemies with the woman. Quite the opposite, really. "You're the only Mikaelson sibling I hadn't met so when I heard that people were being rude I had to come over to offer my assistance. They're always rude to those of us who show up here. And they especially don't like the idea of vampires. Not that that's surprising." She paused, considering the older woman.
"I'm sorry. I'm being rude. I'm Anna." She offered Rebekah another smile. "You're looking for a house? Klaus's by chance?" Because if Rebekah had just shown up and was already looking for a specific house, it had to be her brother's. "I know where he's staying. I can take you there if you'd like." And she'd even fill her in on the threats that lurked in the town -- even to an Original vampire. Because there were a few. One specific name came to mind. She wasn't sure why she didn't feel nervous around the Original Sister, but she was completely calm. Maybe she was just beyond caring what happened to herself.
