The problem, of course, was that the people in this town, overall, were incredibly closed minded. And Anna had met a lot of close minded people in her life, but never this many in such a small town. And of course Anna had never been physically trapped in one place for so long before, unless you counted the Other Side. That had its own set of terrible things. Like not being able to talk to anyone or have anyone see you.
She watched as Rebekah grabbed the woman and press her up against the wall, hand wrapped around her throat and for a moment she continued turning and heading in the other direction. She knew who Rebecca was. Knew that she was the vampire responsible for Elena's death and turning into a vampire. She really didn't have much desire to get wrapped up in any Original family drama, though she and Klaus had been civil during their mutual time there.
But she sighed, feeling a tug of conscience when she started to turn away. Plus if Rebekah killed the woman it would spell trouble for all of the vampires in town. It just didn't seem like a great situation. So with great caution, she approached the blonde vampire. "The people around here are less than polite to the visitors to their little town," she commented. "Especially to people like us."
