"Dick Roman? Sounds like you have a lot ot fill me in on," Jo quipped as she shook her head, trying to wrap her mind around the weirdness of this situation. "Yeah, it doesn't exactly make sense to me as I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be dead." She ran a hand through her hair and then grimaced as her hand caught a tangle. "Not that I'm in a hurry to be dead, but this just makes no sense."
When she heard his question, she looked down at her abdomen and then looked back at him. "Nowhere near as badly as I should be. I have a lot of cuts and things that need to be treated, and a few of them might even scar, but I don't seem to be as torn up as we remember me being." She had no doubt that Sam remembered how bad she had been since she knew that he could pretty much remember everything.
She gave him a small smile. "Did you do what Mom said? Did you give them all a good kick in the ass?"
