WHO: Helga Hufflepuff & Open (Gentle tag to Godric and Rowena) WHAT: Shopping WHERE: At the WalMart WHEN: Sunday afternoon STATUS: Open/Ongoing WARNINGS: TBD
Helga had decided that since she was going to be providing food for a festival that she should get to know the town a little better. If she knew what kinds of things people generally enjoyed here, then she could make sure to cater to enough tastes so that no one would fill slighted.
Helga was very much against anyone feeling slighted in any way.
It wasn't until she had left her flat that she realized that her goal might be a bit harder to accomplish than she had imagined.
In wanting to gather the most diverse information possible, she asked a nice young gentleman where most people shopped for large amounts of items at the best prices. The young man probably thought he was being helpful when he directed the stranger to WalMart.
When Helga entered the large building, she had to stop in her tracks and blink a few times. The place was not only the brightest lit shoppe she had ever been in, but there seemed to be a rather large crowd out doing their shopping. She couldn't remember the last time she had seen so many people in one establishment before.
This was not going to be a simple shopping excursion, she could already tell. There were so many shelves of items -- some of which she had never seen -- that she was at a loss as to where to start.
Moving away from the doors, she accepted a basket with wheels from a man that looked like he should be in a nice chair beside a warm fire somewhere. She started walking down the nearest aisle, trying to take in and understand everything she was seeing.
"By the beard of Merlin," she said softly, shaking her head and resisting the urge to dim the lights a little bit. "How do they even keep track of what they buy and sell in such a large shoppe?"
