Who: Pollux & Cassiopeia What: Siblings, discussing Cassi's problem. Where: Their home When: Evening, after Cassi's network. Warnings | Status: TBD | in progress
Pollux felt the stir in the house's defenses that alerted him to Cassi's arrival. She registered as a non-threat to the system as a recognized member of the household, but Pollux had briefly considered revoking that status. He was in control of the house wards, after all. It would be petty (and physically damaging should she try to get in anyway) to shut her out of the house but the recent stress and their general bickering left him with childish ideas of sibling vengeance. But remembering he wasn't at a point where he could be a child any longer he pushed away thoughts of picking on his sister and focused instead on helping her with whatever she'd done.
Deciding against going out to meet her, Pollux settled into the chair behind his desk. It wasn't as comfortable or elegant as the one at home, but it was sufficient for their stay here. Cassi had actually done a rather remarkable job of decorating and furnishing the house and it pleased Pollux immensely. He hadn't the faintest idea how to go about tasks like that, as Irma had put the touches on their home, and Cassi this one. But that was how it was supposed to be, wasn't it? Pollux glanced around the office space and sat back, unclasping the cufflinks and setting them on the desk.
They were in their own home, and not receiving guests this late in the evening therefore Pollux felt it acceptable to relax. Not that he was by any means under dressed. He simply relaxed his standards a fraction.
Pollux didn't look up when Cassi entered, "What happened, then?" he asked. No point in pleasantries, he wanted to sleep at some point and the faster they dealt with whatever she'd done the sooner that would happen.
