Who: Lydia Martin and Anna
What: Talking about important things.
Where: The kitchen in the house where they stay.
When: Sunday night.
Rating: Low probably.
Status: Incomplete/Ongoing.
Anna hadn't really thought that Lydia would return, even though Caroline had. She knew the red-head didn't remember having been there before, and that didn't surprise her because Caroline hadn't remembered being there before either. But they both had. She'd extended the invitation of their house once more because as far as she was concerned, Lydia was far safer with them than she was with anyone else in the town. She just hoped that when she reminded Lydia of who they were, she would take it as well as she had the first time.
And she was going to tell her. It was only right. She knew the younger woman's secret, after all. She would keep it and protect her the best that she could. The same way that she had before. The same way they all had before. This time around there would be no forced blood tests. Not unless someone wanted Anna to rip out their throat.
She sat at the table, an open book in front of her though she wasn't reading. Her focus just wasn't there at the moment. She was too distracted by her thoughts. Maybe she should take up journaling. She knew Elena used to journal because Jeremy had read what she'd written. God, that seemed like such a long time ago now. Sighing, she leaned back in the chair, stilling when she heard footsteps approaching.
She turned to see Lydia and she smiled faintly. "Can't sleep?"
