Everybody's culture has particular ideas on trust and loyalty, Cuthbert. You've just only encountered people from yours, and people in a subservient position to you, to boot, before coming here. It sort of shows. To a lot of people, blind agreement or support isn't a virtue or an indication of trust or loyalty. Me, for example. I consider it more loyal to be straight-forward: I tell Shaun no or argue with him constantly, because to me loyalty means making my thoughts known, not lying to spare the ego, for example.
There's more to compromise than that.
