Sookie hadn't been looking for Molly or for anyone else. Her head was hurting, which was why she had decided to walk through the park. The park should be quiet this early and maybe she'd have some time to relax before the day really got started and she had to concentrate to keep her mental shields up for who knew how long. She didn't work until later in the afternoon and Eric would be sleeping until night fall. Mainly, she was out, just wandering the area. She was careful and she still carried her knife in her bag -- as well as the squirt gun of lemon juice and the gardening trowel she'd picked up at one of the stores shortly after she'd arrived. She didn't know if lemons and iron had the same effect on fae here as they did back home, but damn it, if she got attacked, she had all creatures covered to try to protect herself, at least. She would not be easy prey to a human, a vamp, a were, a fae or anyone else out for fun.
Besides, she didn't know if the Fae War that was going on in her world spilled over into this one. She'd no reason to think that anyone here wanted the King of the Fae's great-granddaughter, but Sookie hadn't survived all of things she had by being foolish. She also wondered if Niall even knew that she and Eric had been taken and if he was even trying --
Stop that, Sookie! She admonished herself sharply. Niall has more to worry about with his war and you can't expect him to always know what's going on with one great-granddaughter.
She'd been so focused on chastising herself and defending Niall in her mind that she hadn't been paying attention to where she was walking and was surprised to see the other woman on the swings.
"I thought being called human was a bad insult. I think I like that better than mortal." She shook her head, hating that she babbled when she got nervous. "And no, sorry to bother you, ma'am. I was just looking for a quiet place to relax for a little bit."
