Who: Sabine Wren and Fiyero Tigelaar.
What: Getting drinks.
Where: The Electric Lady.
When: After this.
Warnings: TBD.

Sabine didn't know Desire. However, she knew of Desire, so she decided that the poor Prince Fiyero deserved a drink or two after his encounter with that particular Endless sibling. ...though she likely would have offered to go have drinks with him regardless.

He was an attractive man for a prince. One would even say dashing. And it had been far too long since Sabine had had a drink with someone else. A man, woman, whatever. She needed some sort of human interaction every once in a while. Regardless of how adamant she was about not needing to be social.

She had gotten dressed and ran a brush through her orange and purple hair, before heading downstairs to meet this Prince Fiyero Tigelaar. She was intrigued, to say the least.

And if nothing else, at least she'd gotten a few drinks in her system.

"Hello, your highness," she said, with a slight smirk, once she spotted the man in question.

Honestly, what were all these things? He'd gotten some direction, of course, but Fiyero felt a sinking rock in his stomach about learning more (which he would have to) because where to begin? Appliances that were shiny and more advanced than anything he'd ever seen - portable machines for washing fabric looked nothing like the ones now (and you could order them from catalogs), clothes were dried in specific closets, and dishes were washed by hand; having an actual dishwasher pointed out to him, complete with its own set of shiny buttons, was also a bit overwhelming.

A lot of this was overwhelming though - and that rock in his stomach dropped even further, churning like one of those washer loads off balance, when he realized that he would have no choice but to learn everything, since there was no way out. He didn't know where Feldspur was, or any of his friends - they were sure to be scattered anyway now that Glinda remained in the Emerald City and Elphaba had been declared a fugitive. Boq and Nessa remained a mystery - he could only hope they were alright. All of them.

Alcohol likely wasn't the best idea but it would take his mind off of things. Maybe numb the sharp edges of those worrying, intrusive thoughts a little. Thus, he went downstairs and met Sabine - he hadn't really had the time to find new clothing, so it was the attire he'd been wearing. Navy blue vest, a crisp shirt, perfectly regal with tall riding boots and trousers tucked into them - everything fit him flatteringly, because all his clothes did (and speaking of clothing, whatever was available in the stores would surely shock him too). Hopefully he wouldn't stick out too much but he had never really been concerned with such things anyway.

"My lady," he greeted, taking her hand and pressing a light, airy kiss to the knuckles before letting go. "No highness necessary, I assure you. Well! Shall we? Show me an Electric Lady."

"No your highness, then?" Sabine arched an eyebrow at the man in front of her. The man who looked absolutely dashing in his clothing. Of course he did. What Prince wouldn't look good in what they were wearing? Especially tailored clothes like Fiyero was wearing.

"You are sure you want to see an Electric Lady? I mean...she might be a little too much for you to handle."

Sabine knew the bartender, Shosanna, was working at the bar in question tonight. Maybe Shosanna's accent would impress him enough to score another night out. ...if not, mayabe Sabine could introduce him to her lightsaber. That might make her the electric lady.

"Too much? Never." It couldn't be any more strange than this whole situation, so he supposed whatever an Electric Lady was, she had that going for her. Trying to figure it all out was like trying to map out a storm - it was all chaotic and a part of him still had one foot at home, in Oz, wondering if he'd ever see Elphaba and the others again. But Fiyero had never been one to really let his guard down or let the mask he'd carefully constructed throughout his whole life slip.

Elphaba had seen through it, through him, like all of his defenses were made of glass. It was both irritating and intriguing, not that he'd ever admit that he already missed someone actually seeing him more than he could put words to.

Thus, he'd just roll his shoulders and carry on. "Hopefully the drinks are strong - if that's the case, then I'm sure she'll be impressive," he grinned crookedly.

"Oh, the drinks are strong. If you know the bartender and how to properly impress said bartender." Luckily for both of them, Sabine had apparently impressed Shosanna enough to receive strong drinks. ...she just hoped that it would extend to Fiyero as well.

If they tipped well enough, she was sure it would.

"The bartender's name is Shosanna. More often than not." She blinked. "I mean, her name is always Shosanna, but she's not always the bartender. I believe she is tonight." She started toward The Electric Lady. Which, fortunately, was not too terribly far.

"What sort of drinks do you prefer?" she asked.

The patron had to impress the bartender to get strong drinks? Otherwise, what, she spit in it? Or served watery swill? That was an interesting dynamic - wasn't it usually the other way around, because they wanted a good tip? Fiyero wouldn't question it too much (even if he was wondering what 'impress' meant, as in, do an interpretive dance or sing a song?) - everything was different here, and he did want to make a good impression. You couldn't do the first one over, after all.

"Well, I will certainly do my best," he chuckled, adjusting the sleeves of his shirt and rolling them up his arms a bit because at the very least he promised to look the part of someone impressive. He carried himself with confidence and always had, even if sometimes when he was alone he didn't always feel that way. "As for preference, I do like a good martini. Absinthe is delightful also - back home it's quite strong, but it can be used as medicine too, so." Or it was, once upon a time (did you want to pass out and forget everything? See, that was good medicine) - the bitterness of the wormwood, not cut by any sugar cube, was decadent and the herbs seemed otherworldly, almost.

He walked alongside Sabine, giving her a smile. "What about you?"
