The world ending is a state that Bo dealt with more than she'd like to, but she had been feeling good about their chances after killing Massimo and saving Lauren. She should have known it wouldn't last. When she walked into the chaos of the Revenants fighting outside the portal to Hel, she knew something was wrong. When she saw Kenzi at the mouth of the Cinvat, dread washed over her. She ran towards Kenzi, but Dyson was there and he was holding her back. She yelled at Kenzi - there had to be another way. But then Kenzi stepped into the Cinvat and died and her heart broke into pieces. Chest hollow, tears streaming, she cried out and then suddenly fell to the ground - Dyson was no longer holding her back. She wasn't inside the temple either. The sun was out and she squinted from the sudden shift in lighting.
Standing, Bo tried to get her breathing under control. She didn't care her face was a mess from ugly crying. She turned in a circle. "Dyson? Tamsin?" A pause, then hesitantly "Kenzi?" She wiped at her face and turned around again, this time taking in the scene before her. Her heart was broken, but she could funnel all her feelings into rage and kill whoever was responsible for messing with them. Again. She looked up toward the sky, unconcerned by the two suns, and had a determined look on her face? "You are so going to regret messing with me." Now she just needed to figure out what Fae was messing with her.
