Helena found, honestly, that she quite liked Madison, Indiana. There was so much to it. Though, it probably helped that the place was somehow in the future. That? She wasn't sure how it had happened. Just as it didn't stop her from wanting to figure it out. Even more so after the machine she'd made. Of course, that was neither here nor there at the moment.

She'd decided to head toward the museum and slips inside giving Claudia a bit of a smile. "Almost done, darling?" If she had to stick around the place a little bit longer then she would. However, she planned on getting them out a bit and grabbing something to eat. They could grab something for Cosmia on the way home too.

Claudia was fucking exhausted. This week managed to get away from her. She still hadn't heard back from Melinda regarding the Hallowe'en party. Usually she and Bex organized shit together, but they were down both Bex and an assistant, though at least they had Alex to pick up some of the slack again. Alex was a necessary person to the museum and losing her a second time hurt.

She'd just finished explaining to the delivery guy that two hours late with office supplies wasn't acceptable short of a flat tire, and she'd be getting in touch with his supervisor since he thought taking an hour long break was acceptable without informing the museum he'd be late.

So when Helena appeared, Claudia and Alex were currently tearing open boxes. "God yes." Though Claudia groaned. "Okay, Alex, here's the plan. We take a break for dinner. Reconvene at 7. Overtime and I'll bring dessert for you." Alex nodded and grabbed her things.

"Hey," she finally managed with a grin. "I am so incredibly hungry." Claudia grabbed her coat. After working at the museum for as long as she had, her style had evolved.

As they walked, she smiled. "How are things going?"

The day, for the most part, was a bit lackluster to Helena. Though she was also used to having more adventures than this. Not that Madison Valley didn't have its appeal. There was also the fact that Claudia was there too and that made things even better. She'd also been taking time out of her day to do a little writing too.

"Hello, darling," She says giving Claudia a soft smile. The younger girl looked a bit tired. "Good. I figure we can hit the Japanese steakhouse," she tells her. That? It seemed like a good place to go out to eat. They could grab whatever else they needed afterward.

As for how things are going," They're going well. I've started writing again, but I'll admit I'm getting a bit bored." Why wouldn't she? When Cosmia and Claudia were working she had the house to herself. "Do you need help?" After all, if it was just Claudia and Alex she didn't mind helping. It would give her something to do and museums were rather amazing.

"Japanese steakhouse? Say no more," Claudia joked. She could use a nice filling dinner. Maybe some kind of dessert as well. Definitely no drinks if she needed to come back to work.

"I'm glad to hear you're writing." Claudia looked at her friend with sympathy. "This place can be boring at times." Especially with how often she spent by herself in the house. Well, her and Minerva Whiskers, her and Cosima's fur baby. "Hopefully Minerva keeps you company a little bit."

Claudia shook her head. "I mean, probably, but I need food first and Alex needs a break as well." A few minutes later they arrived and were seated in the restaurant.

"Are you thinking of anything besides writing?"

A nice filling dinner is something they could both use. They could even take Alex a nice filling dinner too. Something the young woman could enjoy. Though, Claudia would have to order for the woman since Helena didn't know her that well. "Minerva is a great conversationalist and keeps me company, especially when I'm writing." Though, the adorable furbaby liked to try and steal her writing utensils.

"We'll take Alex something back. I'm sure she needs real food too,' She states simply. Once they're seated, however, she leans back in her seat and gets comfortable. At Claudia's question she shakes her head. She hadn't truly thought of anything besides writing.

There was, honestly, a lot she could do," There's always the museum. Or I could teach." Though, teaching might actively bore her. A museum wouldn't. "Do you have any suggestions, darling?"

Alex might eat steak. Claudia had seen her eat normal food and then gorge on chips and Coke, so she'd text the young woman and see if she wanted food and what kind. After Alex responded, Claudia nodded.

"We'll bring her back two twice baked potatoes and some kind of non fruit dessert." Claudia looked at the menu and made her decision. "There is the science museum. Though I think you'd be a good teacher, H.G." She smiled at her friend and placed her order when the server appeared.

They could, honestly, message Alex later and find out what the girl wanted. She didn't mind paying for it either. Even if she knows that Claudia might decide to, especially when she'd been in the city longer. That was something they'd figure out in by the time they finished eating.

"Fried green tea ice cream?" Though, she's sure the place had more desserts than ice cream. If they didn't then they'd go somewhere else to get the non-fruit dessert. She does, however, place her order when the server comes before those eyes look toward Claudia," What could you see me teaching?" She had an idea but she wanted to hear it from her friend.

	Claudia made a very nice salary, so she'd pay for food this time. HG should save her money. "We'll look at the menu after we eat dinner." Claudia could always stop for beignets if necessary. "Literature? History? History of literature?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It was possible, in all reality, that she'd actively save her money. Or she might spend it on the young woman before her. After all, she never truly wanted for anything. What she doesn't have? She could easily build. It would just be a matter of finding the right materials.

"I'm sure we'll find something for her."

Of course, it was possible she'd stay behind to help Claudia and Alex out after all was said and done too. It would give her something to do rather than simply heading home.

"Perhaps I'll head in tomorrow and see what they have available." They both knew, really, that if she had to choose then it would possibly be her teaching the history of literature.
