While I know in theory that people will twist stories to fit what they want, and even see it first hand in ways that had nothing to do with history. But to see how different the tales are is surprising and interesting. Probably a good thing I never had a problem with gritty or bloody as my sister used to tell me stories about vampires when I was younger. Not realizing at the time they were real until recently. And my brain is still trying to adjust to the news even with everything I've seen. We mainly talked about town history and nothing much about your family history. If you dig deep enough into any family, you're always going to find some skeletons in the closest some worse than others. Your family just was along a lot longer, making there more to the history on you guys.
One can only hope. While I have no problem engaging in more conversations with you, I'd rather it not be about Klaus and that he was brought here. I appreciate the fact you'll let me know. Thank you for that, Kol.
I tend to try to give people the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance until they show me otherwise. I believe in one or two chances, depending on the issue. You've been nothing but nice to me, so I see no problem in giving you a chance like everyone deserves. Up to you what you do with that chance.
Much better manners than someone based on what I know is waiting back home for me.
[Kol] Since I'm sure my niece would rather not know my plans after I see her. I'd also like to avoid any more of this protecting me or having me feel fragile.
How about something early next week? Gives me time to settle in, check on my niece and learn everything I missed out on, and have a night of bad decisions to deal with what I've learned. Once I'm not feeling like death from the choices I made, I'll be happy to meet up with you.
