Henry did not want to be cooped up in his house all day grading papers and assignments. He still was finishing grading some poetry before he would give out the next assignment. He would be going easy and only let his students read passages before their next paper. He even knew that too many papers was going to be too much. But, he couldn't concentrate because there were too many distractions at his house. He would keep getting up to pour himself a cup of tea, or he would go and turn on the TV and get distracted by whatever it was that he was watching. So he decided to put all of his work and head to the park, at least it would give him some fresh air and he could concentrate on what he was doing.
Grabbing his bag, he put it up over his one shoulder and headed on out. It was a beautiful day and he didn't want to take it for granted. He had stopped to get himself a latte before heading to the park. Once he got there, he saw that there was a bench that he could sit at. That would be perfect. Laying his bag on the ground, he began to take a book and his papers, taking a pen he began to read some of the poems. Marking the grade and making any corrections and giving feedback. As he was taking a sip of his latte, a little gust of wind picked up and some of his papers flew out of his lap.
"For Christ sake!" He muttered to himself. So he looked like a lost puppy just running around collecting papers off of the ground that were scooped up from the wind. As he managed to find the last paper that he had lost, he went to grab it but smacked into someone. "Pardon me, I am so sorry, are you alright?" He asked.
