Re: Peter Pan & Cameron
A smirk. "Not tonight," he teased. "Unless your idea of amusement involves something other than speed dating antics." He wasn't surprised to hear she was jealous of his ability to fly. Most people were. Hell, when Pan was unable to fly because he didn't have a shadow, he'd been fucking envious as hell. There was nothing quite like soaring in the night sky, moonlight reflecting all around you, bathing in the world in a shimmering, magical light. It was surreal. Ethereal. It was where Pan felt most at home.
"I figured you might be," he replied with a wink. "Most are. I haven't heard anything about underground stuff, but if you're into combat, there is an event held monthly called Fight Night. I usually go when I can." It was the only place Pan could utilize his skillset and keep sharp. Indulge in his more violent urges.
He shrugged. "That's fair enough I suppose." There was plenty of lore about him, but most of it tended to make him look far more heroic or young than he actually was. He understood these were simply just different versions of himself and nothing more. When she said she'd torment them for a bit, Pan looked amused. "I would too. Fuck with them. It'd be hilarious." And Pan did enjoy a bit of mischief and folly when he could.
Pan nodded. "That they do." The Never King also had his share of tattoos. However, the only one visible was peeking out from beneath the sleeves of his jacket. His body housed far more. They too were reminders of people, things, that had come before. Things he'd never wish to deal with again. "Thanks. They are nothing compared to what else the pirates tend to carry around though. Just small trinkets really."
The bell rang, signaling the end of the date, and Pan straightened. "I suppose this is good-bye for now, Cameron. Maybe next time we meet, will have far more interesting topics to discuss." He offered her a playful wink and then stood, pushing back his chair.
"Have a good night." Then he was gone, slipping into the crowd of people shifting between tables for their last date.
