Kol Mikaelson and Cameron
"Easy, love. Don't bite," Kol teased, chocolate brown eyes bright with amusement. "I don't doubt your ability to adapt or you potentially being some fierce warrior chick in your world." And Kol didn't doubt there was absolute truth to her words. It was clear she felt strongly about her ability to fight back against anything or anyone.
Kol sighed. "Anyone can hold their own against a vampire, love. One just needs proper training and tools." Unfortunately, if she did try to fight back, Kol was an original and he was far harder to subdue than a normal vampire. But that didn't mean she might not be able to defend herself long enough to run away. "Besides, if you don't fight back a little it takes the fun out of it," he added, voice light, teasing.
"Do keep it in mind," Kol replied simply. He doubted his offer would be the only one she received tonight. Well, it could be the only offer she received in terms of being bitten, but not in general. And yes, she had to be careful. Kol was an original and he knew his way around this little game. Oh, he enjoyed playing, savored it as much as he did an actual hunt, but she would be wise to think twice before being around him alone.
She was dangling a carrot in front of his nose, telling him to reach out if he wanted to meet up again. Perhaps he would. The bell rang, signaling the end of their date and Kol chuckled. "I suppose it is 'to be continued' then, darling." He reached across the table and took one of her hands, pressing a kiss to her knuckles before standing.
"Enjoy the rest of your night, Cameron." Then he was gone, disappearing into the crowd.
