Re: Kol Mikaelson and Cameron
“I may have, but it has nothing to do with fighting words or confidence. It comes down to past experience and fine tuning what I’ve learned to fit my needs,” she admitted to him without giving away any truth behind what she said. Whether it was Berlin’s mouth or what she allowed people to think, their opinion of her always changed once they heard where she spent some time. For the ones who still tried or who believed what Berlin spewed, she twisted the story to amuse herself and freak them out a bit more.
Cameron raised an eyebrow but even then she only gave a small shrug as she kept her arms on the table. She didn’t really care if her pulse may have quickened or anything that showed differently, Cameron was still going to stand her ground. “Then it would only prove fruitless to make the warning about my pretty neck since not like I’m able to fight a vampire,” she pointed out still not moving her arms off the table. Holding on to the fact that she really didn’t think he was going to bite her after the comments he had said.
Her dark eyes watched him, and she knew he was studying her. For what reason was yet to be seen, but she reached for her drink instead to take another sip. Listening as he said what he did about being bitten. Now her eyes were studying him, taking in what he said. While the idea did interest her if she was being honest, Cameron also knew she had to be careful cause she was floating in some dangerous waters. Not just because of what he was, but the reminder of her past. A shift of her legs happened as if reminding her of the tattoo that she had hidden under her pants to remind herself of her past. “Maybe I’ll take you up on that offer at some point. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if you get to sink your fangs into my pretty neck as you described it.”
Against her better judgment, Cameron decided to do something that she would classify as stupid later when she played tonight over in her head. “If you decide you want to meet up again, you should reach out.” Cameron offered since he knew her name. If she left it up to herself, she’d never reach out, knowing how everything ended in nothing but pain. This way, she was leaving it up to a gamble in a sense which was much more fun.
