Re: Kol Mikaelson and Cameron
While she wasn’t completely sure of the connection, Cameron figured there was no harm in the ordeal. It would be one thing if she had decided to seek it out, but that wasn’t the case. If anything came from any of this, she’d handle the situation since the last thing she wanted was to cause chaos in other people’s lives when her life was already one giant mess.
A smile appeared at his cheeky grin, laughing at his comment. “Oh please, I could handle that with my eyes closed. In that situation, the person you should be worried about is the other person.” Cameron told him with a flash of mischief in her eyes. Over the years, she had mastered the skill of how to chase men away, and she had no problem resorting to those tricks if her next date turned out terrible. Then again, Cameron was adept at handling most social interactions when it was needed.
“Is that your subtle way of trying to say you want to see me again,” she teased him, giving the poor man a hard time. Vampire? She thought it to herself, letting it sink in for a moment before speaking again. “Is that really a worry and concern people might have? While, okay, maybe I should be worried about it, the thought didn’t really cross my mind. You had plenty of opportunities since I sat down, never taking it, so I’m not worried.”
That devilish smirk was trouble, and she laughed at the comment that followed it. “It’s a good thing I do know my manner most of the time, and I’ll have to keep that in mind. Though while I don’t have anything that can top vampire, being I’m a human. Fun, but boring next to that. Sharing point on my end,” she brought one of her hands up to rest her chin on the palm of her hand, thinking for a moment before speaking. “I’m a giant thrill seeker. The more adrenaline pumping through my veins, the better in my mind.” Saying that aloud, she frowned, “I’m sorry, it’s nowhere near the same level as your little piece of information.”
