Re: Kol Mikaelson and Monika
Kol had plenty of people to talk to, people that refused to let him wallow in self-pity and loathing. Going to the library was more so to have a moment to himself. For as much as he knew his family and his friends wanted to help, Kol sometimes needed a break from them. A moment to gather his own thoughts and to steel himself against the ever present ravenous monster within. The being that wanted to rip everyone to shreds and watch the world burn. Because Allison was gone and she wasn't coming back.
Kol offered her a rare, gentle smile. "I'm glad he was good to you, love. You seem like a girl that deserves that in her life." Not that kind of disaster that was Kol Mikaelson, the man seated across from her.
