Annie knew some people loved to elaborate or ramble, her being one of those people, so figured it was a possibility. While her answer most likely wouldn’t change, she might expand on it a bit to avoid sounding like a parrot.
She didn’t think twice about being honest with his question since there were very few things Annie hid about herself. “For a while, I had someone in my life so no reason, then I died. Little hard to attend speed dating as a ghost, making it not a valid option for me back home.” The poor person would be sitting across from no one as far as they knew unless it was a supernatural only speed dating. Which that meant they’d be out in the open, so yes, the whole idea was out of the question. “I’m glad to hear you haven’t ended up with any drinks thrown in your face. You seem nice, so I’m glad to hear that hasn’t happened to you.”
