Who: Elena Gilbert and OPEN What: Elena dealing with being new here and a vampire When: Evening (after the sun went down) Where: Streets Rating: low
Elena took a deep breath and exhaled as she stood by the side of the road and looked at the high school in the distance. It was supposed to be her senior year back home and here she was without her best friends. Not only that, but she couldn't even go to this school since Bonnie wasn't around to make a daylight ring and she wasn't sure anyone else could make one.
Deciding she dwelled long enough on depressing things, Elena decided to head south and take in more of Madison. She'd been trying to get the lay of the land. She knew she didn't have the full sense of what this place was like because she only got to see it when the sun went down, but it seemed like there was enough people out and about most of the time.
She stopped in front of one of the shops that had just closed for the evening and looked inside the glass window. She guessed she was truly 'window shopping' at this point. There were some cute things inside.
Elena was so lost in her thoughts that when she turned, she didn't realize someone was walking in her direction and she had to suddenly side-step out of surprise. "Sorry!" That had been close.
